In gravure printing, chattermarks are regular, repeating horizontal or diagonal streaks or bands that appear across the printed web.

C: Blade angle is too steep, cause ink build-up

S: Flatten the blade

C: Excessive blade pressure, cause bending

S: Reduce the blade pressure
